Using Wiki Widgets

Wiki Widgets are extensions to the MediaWiki software which will only be available if whoever set up the wiki installed them. Before you can start using them you need to find out whether they're installed on the wiki you're editing. Go to the sandbox and enter

  
   <widget />
   

Hit Show Preview. If you just see the same thing that you typed

  
   <widget />
   

then they aren't installed and you should consider asking the person who runs the wiki to check them out. In the meantime you can use the Sandbox on this site to experiment.

On the other hand if they are installed you'll see information about all the available widgets. As an example have a look at Installed Widgets to see the widgets installed on this wiki.
